Christmas is a wonderful time of the year. The time we celebrate the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ-the greatest gift of all is his Birth. Time we spend with our loved ones-family and friends. I was stressed out a lot this season due to the fact that I didn't do any christmas shopping until after the 16th because of school. I was stressed out about what to get people, when to do things and when to bake my yummy goodies. nevertheless I found a way to get it all done. I have some pictures to reflect on what we've been doing this past Christmas holiday.
Here is my awesome tree! I love it. 98% of the ornaments came from my mom. she also bought me the tree skirt, so I had to have matching ornaments. Thanks mom for letting me use your stuff. It's better than buying and storing my own at times.
We went to my Brother-in-law's to make gingerbread houses with the kids. Kody had a lot of fun and she didn't eat the candy without asking. When she saw me eat it, of course she asked if she could have some too. I'm just glad she didn't dig in without asking. She loved to build her little house. It was a lot of fun watching her work on a little project with her cousin, Reece
Here's Kole and Kody working on our house. Kody had to help. She loves doing anything with Kole, no matter what it is.
My two loves!! I love this picture of them. This is what life is all about- family. Being with the ones you love the most! It helps to forget about the worldly things in life when you have your family and your faith close by.
This is mine and Kole's gingerbread house when it was finished. This is the back side of it. we had so much fun. I thought ours came out really cute. It was fun working on it together.
This is kody's work! she loved putting the gumdrops everywhere.
She got to spend time with her Papa Kim (Kole's dad). He lives in Michigan so she doesn't get to see him that much, but when she does, she loves him so much. for not seeing him that much, she knows that he's her papa and she warms up to him right away.
My happy little girl. She's so happy for Christmas.
My family with our traditional ugly face photo. This one is great for the reason that even Kody is making a little face. I'm teaching her well. LOL
My family. I look forward to expanding my family someday. I love my little girl and I know there are more waiting in Heaven for their chance to live on this earth.
Kody got a digital camera- yes it actually takes pictures and it came with a USB cable to plug into the computer and upload pictures. Wow. And she got a pretty pink bike from Santa(momanddad). she was so excited to get her new bike. She rode around the house for a long time- so sad we couldn't take it out side Christmas morning. It was raining all day. If we lived anywhere else, we would have had a white Christmas. We woke Kody up at 6 so she could take an early nap. We had a busy day, but it was fun.
Over at my parent's house. Kristin and DAnny opening up their presents. It's funny- we all sit in the same spot every year. No exceptions.
Kody with Kole's potato gun and my awesome Twilight necklace that Danny got me. It's so pretty. I love it. It has a link with Bella's bracelet on it.
Again, my family. I love my brother and sisters. They are some of my best friends and I love being an adult and having grownup relationships with them where it no longer consists of constant bickering or fighting. Again, family is where it's at. I hope everyone had a great Christmas and was able to spend it with the ones they love!
