Fun times

Kody got some new jammies. She has one that has clouds on it and her Ariel ones. She absolutely loves them! Will not take them off to change into another outfit. She loves to watch "The Little Mermaid" now. It's a nice break from "Cars." She also has little mermaid toys to play with in the pool. She loves to go for rides on Kole's motorcycle too. I love her face in the picture above.

One Sunday afternoon, my family came over for dinner. We host dinner at our place every second sunday of the month. It's fun and it gives my mom a nice break from cooking dinner every week. Well My mom introduced this game to Kody where she chases Kody around the house with the little plastic baby doll saying" waa waa" and Kody loves that! She now even comes up to me and says "want more waa." It is so funny. Well you can see how happy that little game makes Kody. The smile on her face is so big. And when I take Kody to my mom's Kody makes sure she brings her baby so my mom can play with her. It is too funny. I just like the other 2 photos here. I think she looks like a big girl. More photos will come soon. I have to play catch -up still. Enjoy!
Water Fun
Kody received a water sprinkler toy for her Birthday and we finally put it to use a few days ago. She absolutely loves it! She loves playing in the water to begin with (like the bathroom sink), so one day Kole was washing his motorcycle and Kody had the chance to play outside. She had the best time. Instead of running through the sprinklers, she would get ahold of one of the little tubes there as you see and she would spray me or Kole with it and get us wet. She thought it was funny. She had a good time.
On another day, we were outside playing again and after we washed the car- Kole put fresh water in this bucket and put kody in it. She loved it!! She would not get out either. I was laughing so hard because she looks like a trailer park baby playing in a bucket. She kept saying "i'm swimming." It was so funny. She would blow bubbles in the water and jump up and down. I love the pictures just above this that show her fully submerged in the bucket. She is so fun right now. I can't believe some of the things she says and enjoys. It is a lot of fun watching her imagination grow.

Best Vacation Ever!!
I went on the best vacation ever with 2 of my girlfriends, Lauren and Kelle. We had the best time. We stayed at a timeshare in Indio, California. We thought we were staying in Palm Springs, but there must have been a mix up in the booking, but when we found the one in Palm Springs (by accident) after we already checked in to the one in Indio, we decided where we were was much, MUCH better than the other. Our place had it's own lazy river. Needless to say, we spent a lot of time in it. Every night, and a couple times during the day. It was very fun. The lazy river was perfect for my cast because it didn't have to get wet! The river stayed open til 10PM and that was awesome. At 9, people under the age of 18 and the parents of those kids, had to get out of the pool. At one point, we were building a barrier in the river so the crazy kids couldn't get by us. It was quite hilarious at the time. We were laughing so hard.
The next day we went shopping at the outlet mall. There were 130 stores! And these were high end stores too: coach, armani, gucci, juicy couture, dooney and burke, barney's new york, and some other ones I can't think of. We were like kids in a candy store. Lauren and I both bought purses at the Coach store. I have never purchased one before and It was hard to do it even then. My purse was originally $268, and I bought it for $90. I felt a little better because I saved so much. I don't think I'll ever buy one at full price. I can't justify it. Lauren bought one too and she too saved a butt load of money. Kelle bought a little purse from Juicy. She loves it. WE all enjoyed it so much. We decided to go shopping instead of disneyland. Disneyland was our original plan, but we were further away than we realized and we wouldn't have minded the drive there, but we didn't want to be so exhausted on the drive back, that we decided to go shopping. We probably saved money on shopping instead when considering gas prices and ticket and food prices at Disneyland. All in all, it was worth it. Maybe next time i'll go to Disneyland with Kody. I think she would enjoy it now. She loves Mickey Mouse
This is where we stayed. These shots are from our porch. The pool was right there- less than 2 minutes away. The 2nd picture is of the other side of the building we were at. It was so pretty with the sunset on it. The man made river is really pretty too. And this is a shot of our kitchen. We loved staying there. It was very roomy. The only downfall was there was only 1 mirror in the whole blasted place and that was in the bathroom. So if someone was in the shower, we couldn't get ready. Lauren and I managed something though. Luckily our makeup cases had mirrors so we did our makeup at the bar in the kitchen.
Okay! the next day after shopping we went to Knotts Soak City!! It was fantastic! I had to best time there. At first we were a little disappointed because this water park is supposedly the largest in the desert and it didn't seem like it had a lot of slides or anything really. But once we got into the rides, it was so much better. The pink and orange thing you see there was by far the best ride in the world. We went on that one multiple times. In the picture is my and lauren on it. Kelle decided to take our picture. It was kinda scary. The ride was pitch black for the first few seconds and then you make this huge drop and go flying up the sides of the thing. Oh man it was crazy fun. There was this other slide that 2-3 people can go on in a tube. That one was way fun too. It goes super fast. When we got to the bottom, usually people slow down by the time they get to where you're supposed to step out, but we flew all the way to the vent at the end of the ride. I had to put my legs out with full strength to stop us! We were laughing so hard and others who were waiting for tubes were cracking up too. The second time we went down, I had to put my feet down at the end so we wouldn't fly anymore. it was great. My cast did really well not getting wet til the very end. The reason why it's called soak city is because there is this jungle-gym type thing where the second you get into it you're soaked. Well without thinking I went on in and right away my cast was soaked!! And let me tell ya, it reeked!! When it dried it was bad. I was embarrassed by it. When I got home, Kole was a few feet away from me and he said he could smell it from there, so I had him take it off for me. I felt much better after that. I don't think I could have lasted another week and half with such a rancid-smelling arm.
This is my lovely Coach purse and little wallet dealy! I love it! I love things that match. As I said above, I don't think I will ever spend full price on such at item. Especially not after I got such a huge deal on the one I have. It's fun to have a nice purse that last a lifetime.

Kody in my makeup
As you can see here, she got into my black. She looks like a little panda bear. I think this pictures is way adorable!
Here she got into my superman blue! What happened was she took it out of the bathroom and I thought the case was closed, but a few minutes later she comes running into the bathroom with a smile on her face and saying "yucky!" I looked at her and found that she had been eating and and it is all over and you can see! I think she's embarrassed cause she's not looking at the camera
What did I do??
Even though this is blurry, I love it because it's almost as if she is going "strike a pose!"

Kody turns 2!!!
For Kody's 2nd Birthday we went to Tempe Beach Park to play in the water. Her cousins Reece, Aaron, and Bradley came to join her. She had so much fun with all of them. Reece is Kody's little body guard. She made sure that Kody was well taken care of. She would prevent other kids from picking Kody up or making her sad. It was pretty cute.
Here Kody, Bradley (far back) and Aaron were playing in the little splash area. I love the way this picture looks with the sun behind them and the color of it. After playtime we had cake at our house. Grandma made carrot cupcakes for everyone and they were ever-so-yummy. Kody had fun blowing out her 2 candles. She enjoyed the cupcakes very much.
Now it is time for presents. She received many thoughtful gifts from her little cousins. She received a play purse with the little plastic money, makeup and phone and she absolutely LOVES it!! She spent hours putting "makeup" on me and Kole. She loves makeup! She gets into mine all the time. In fact, there will be another post with Kody and my blue makeup all over her face. The last picture is so sweet with her and Bradley giving each other little kisses. They love to see each other and play together. The party was a nice one. Not too many kids, which was nice. She didn't need any more friends than the ones that were there. I think she would have been a little too overwhelmed if she had anymore than that. She also received money from her great-grandma (my grandma) and Kody kept that by her side for the night. It was funny. We are so blessed to have this little girl. I cannot believe that she is 2. She is talking so well. She loves to sing songs and knows about half a dozen of them. She may miss a few words, but she knows the melody of them. She loves to play with her colors (books, markers, crayons, etc). She is a blessing in our home and I am grateful for her each and everyday!

Right arm. Broken!
For my birthday, Kole bought me a skateboard. Well I got to pick out my own deck. I got an old school one from my friend Tara's store in St. George. It's a Vision Aggressor and it's awesome! This is the front of it
And this is the underneath. It's so amazingingly cool!! I love it to pieces. Well needless to say, I had it for one day before I broke my arm. Below is a picture of my awesome pink cast that just so happens to match!
Whee! This is my 7th break. I broke my left arm 6 times, and this is a first on my right arm. I wouldn't have been so annoyed if it was my left because my right hand is my dominant one and it sucked not being able to write and do other things I normally do. Oh well. Kole has been great taking care of Kody for me. He has bathed her everynight for me since I can't get my cast wet. It's been nice.
