New Years

I have absolutely no pictures to post for this one. Why is that?! Oh, because we did absolutely NOTHING for New Years. Yes that is how cool we are. We did have a pretty good excuse if you count Kody being really sick. On sunday and monday she had a crazy fever (104.2 was the highest is got) and she had a really bad ear infection and a slight case of the croup! poor baby. Anyhoo, so we didn't feel good about leaving her with a babysitter so we could go out and do nothing. Ha. So instead we went to 3 different stores looking for the Wii to play at our house til midnight, but of course that system is still as popular as ever and no one has it in stock! I thought after a year or so those systems usually are more available, but nope, still impossible to find at times. Oh well. So we get home, made some popcorn with our new fancy-schmancy popcorn maker that Kole's dad and wife got us for christmas.  It's pretty sweet. It makes popcorn in less that 5 minutes.  Along with our popcorn we watched the Lion King with Kody. Well, we put Kody to bed at 10ish or so (late  I know- she took a late nap that day).  Kole and I were lying in bed around 11ish, Kole falls asleep at 1130, me watching that 70's show by myself. Kody falls asleep around 1150 in her bed. She sang to herself for over an hour. What's funny is that she stayed up longer than Kole did.  Lame. Anyway, that was the extent of our new years. I don't even remember what we did last year.  Sigh... i'm losing my memory at times.  The next morning kole went riding on his motorcycle. He was gone all day. from about 9-5. It was frustrating at first, but then I decided ya know what, he enjoys it, and I'm glad he has a hobby that he really enjoys. He doesn't go out all the time, so when he does, I like him to have fun. I hope everyone else had a great new years and wish you all a happy year in 2009. Crazy how fast time flies.
