Here's what's been going on so far this month... early June, my BFF lauren and I went to the Kate Voegele concert! She is seriously amazing. we heard of her from the show "one tree hill" bought her cd's and love her music and she is an awesome performer!! She really knows how to put on a show. If you haven't heard of her, you should check her out on itunes. I would provide a link, but I don't know how to do that, so you have to go somewhere else on your own...sorry.
We were hoping to get to meet this gal, but that was not the case. She only met the first 40 peeps who bought her cd. and since I already had her cd... I didn't want to have to buy a new one just for the sake of meeting someone for 3 minutes. All in all, it was fun!! I love getting out and going and doing things that don't require me to be responsible for anyone else but myself. ( every now and then is good)
Miss Kate herself. Oh and she is so skinny in person. We always thought she was teeny tiny, but holy crap!! Her thigh is the size of my lower leg.
Kody celebrated her 3rd birthday x3 this year. We went to the museum with my neighbor and her lil girls. It was in mesa and they were having a monster exhibit. Kody was a little freaked out by some of the stuff, but overall I think she had a good time. Afterwards we went to DQ for an ice cream cone. She had chocolate with sprinkles. She was so excited and she did surprisingly well of not getting the ice cream all over herself. Then that night (of her birthday. same day as museum) we went to go get her milestone pictures done by the wonderful gal who did our family photos (Keatorphoto.com if you're interested). We went somewhere different, but stay posted because I'll get those back soon and of course I'll upload them on here. That night we had a little celebration with just our family of 3. While we were out, Kole bought her flowers, and made a cake for her!! She was so super excited to see her flowers and get some cake.
Then on friday night, we had another celebration with her cousins on the Ellertson side of the family. We went to peter piper pizza which was fine for me because I didn't have to clean my house or make anything!! I had clinicals that day and I was so tired and it was the end of the week, so I was already exhausted just from that. She had a great time with her cousins and she won lots of tickets. It was funny, because there is a game called jumping jackpot or something like that, where you are supposed to jump the lighted jump rope thing and if you make it all the way through without getting caught on the sensor, you win the jackpot. Well my brother-in-law seth tried it, did okay, but then I tried it and got the jackpot of 140 tickets on my first try!! it was awesome!!! I tried it again after that, but I was so pumped up and anxious that sometimes I would jump too early and the sensor sensed me and I got about 4 tickets. lol. Anyway, Kody received some nice gifts. We appreciate everyone for their gifts and the love they show Kody. Sunday evening we had a little party at my parents house for her. and it wasn't so much a party as it was she got another cake (homemade carrot/zucchini cake with cream cheese frosting) YUMMMM!!!, and she opened some more presents. Then at our house since I forgot Kristin's present, I just placed a blanket over it (forgot to wrap the thing) and you'll have to scroll down to see what it is. She was so super excited!!! That's it for now.
then there was father's day but I didn't upload any pictures of that. We celebrated it on the same day as kody's lil jones family party. I appreciate my husband and my dad very much. I love the way Kole is to Kody. He is such a loving dad to her and shows her so much patience!!
Her gift from Kristin!! Barbies from the 80's!! you can't get a better barbie!! The ones now-a-days are so dumb looking!! Ken looks like he's 12 and they are just not the same! She has been playing with this set everyday now!!
For some reason, she plays with the guys more... maybe because they're easier since they don't have poofy hair or dresses on... I don' know
There is no better way to end your day than watching a movie with your barbies!

Where in the heck do you find Barbies from the 80's???? Wow. Love it.
I love her face when she opened her barbies! What a lucky little girl.
