I'm excited

I am excited because... my preceptorship for school has been announced. I will be at Chandler Regional Hospital in the Labor and Delivery unit nights. I am nervous about going over night because of the sleeping habits, but the fact that I will be helping bring new life into this world is just too exciting!!

That's exciting! It think the joy of the job itself will make the overnight shifts seem a bit easier.

I actually think that one of my friend's is giving birth there, she just hit 24 weeks or so though, so still a bit of time for her yet :)

Megan I have seen your mom there before. I forgot she worked there. Who knows, maybe I'll see her when I get there and she's leaving.

Lydia, a preceptor is when you follow the same nurse for 8 shifts and you basically do all of the patient care, versus at clinical the nurse does the majority of the work
