A little update to what we have been doing. In january Kody went to her cousin's birthday party and made yummy cookies as an activity. Don't they look delicious?! She did such a good job. It was fun watching her decorate her own cookies. I usually don't let her help me decorate the sugar cookies I make because I'm mean like that and I like my cookies to look pretty. Not that Kody doesn't make them look pretty, but you get the idea I would hope. =)
Here she is going to town on her cookies. She loves putting sprinkles on. When I DO let her have a cookie to decorate she covers in with sprinkles. So much where I think it wouldn't taste very good. Too much sprinkles = sick stomach for me.
She was watching Cinderella one day (of many) and she wanted to wear a pretty dress too. So i put her in the mexico one my sister got her and she loved it. She wore her fuzzy crown too and she danced and sang around the house. It was truly adorable.
One day after tumbling we went downtown Main street here in Mesa and we played on the statues. That was not our activity planned, but while we were out she saw the pig and wanted to go see it. She loved sitting on it. It was pretty cute.
Then went across the street to the bears and she tried to catch the fish just like the little baby bear. She had a great time and it was hilarious.
Back with the pig. I love her smile here.
Awe giving the little baby bear hugs. Notice the medal around her neck? She moved up a level in tumbling and she wasn't quite sure about the ceremony part. Other kids are usually all about it, but she didn't know what to expect. She's very proud of it. She showed everyone her medal and she talks about it quite often.
She went to her friend's, Hannah, birthday party and the theme was princess. So we went out and bought Kody this pretty blue dress. She felt like Cinderella again and she loves this dress!! I think it is so pretty and it makes her eyes POP.
Here's the back of it while she was twirling and dancing around. I love it when the girly part of her comes out. She is into some other things like cars and tools and working on daddy's motorcycle with him. She is a good mix of a little child. Not too girly, but not tomboyish either.
This picture cracks me up! She was passed out!! I love it when little kids sleep with their little bums in the air. She is so sweet when she sleeps. I think it's one of my favorite times. There's just something to a sleeping child that makes them that much more innocent and sweet.
As far as things are going for Kole and I. Kole has been driving back and forth to tucson every single day for work. He's pretty exhausted by the time he gets home, but hey, as long as he has a job i'm not complaining and neither is he. He works hard for our family and I'm so grateful that he does so. He makes sure we have the things we need.
I have been busy with school. This semester is pretty hard and crappy so far. It's been 4 weeks and the whole entire class is either failing (below a 76%) or borderline. Luckily I'm above the 76 but still. The class has been humbled that's for sure. Last semester there were a few people who thought they were smarter than the rest of us because they work for one of the hospitals or for whatever reason and even they are suffering this time around. It's very frustrating. What's the most frustrating thing about it, is that I study so hard and so long and my test scores are as if I didn't even bother. Very dumb!! I'm glad i'm not the only one, but it's still frustrating. I just have to try extra hard and study lots and lots. please pray for me that I may be successful at what I'm doing.

Becky, let me know whenever you need Kody to come play at our house while you study!
I LOVE all the pictures! And that dress is so pretty!! It definitely matches her gorgeous eyes!
By the way, I LOVE your hair!! SO cute!
Just keep up the good work. Nursing school is rough and sometimes it doesn't seem possible to get through it. Then you become a nurse and you wish that you were back in nursing school again! It's all relative. I remember feeling what you are feeling. The best advice I can give you is to just focus on one day at a time. Don't worry about passing the class, just focus on what you can do each day to increase your knowledge:) You'll succeed. I'll pray for you!
