a fun day

On saturday I took Kody to a place called Jump and Start or something like that. It is over by our house and we loved it!! It's one of those places that have big bouncy things with slides and they had some other dealy things to climb on. Adults don't have to pay, only kids which is awesome and adults are allowed to play with the kids on everything which makes it even more fun! Who wouldn't want an opportunity to act like a kid again?? We met up with my brother-in-law, Seth and his girlfriend, Erica and my niece and nephew. At first Kody was of course, very timid about everything, but by the end that girl was all over the place. We played on the big bouncy area first, then the medium one and found the small one later on. The pictures may look like they are out of order, but because we were all over the place the whole time, it just turned out that way. I definitely need/want to take Kody again. We were there for 3 hours and she probably could have played for another 3. and they have big party rooms for birthdays or for whatever, and they have a snack bar which has really good priced snacks- not overly priced like the movie theaters. After we played we went to lunch at the Toby Keith's I love this Bar and Grill. I found it to be quite tasty. Seth was super annoyed though because they had only one college football game on, not even by where we were sitting. The rest of the TV's had country music videos all over. When we were close to leaving they finally switched the tv's to the games. I had fun visiting with my family. We don't get to see them very much due to the fact that they live about 45 min away and with crazy schedules. if any of you who read this with kids ever want to get together for a fun-filled day of this place or a place just like it, hit me up and i'll go. Kody definitely needs a little playmate at places like this. Hope you enjoy the pictures ;)
K as you'll see later, this thing that Michael fell into was not supposed to do that. They are normally supposed to stay inflated the whole time where you can bounce off of it and whatnot. More pics to come later that the memory makes me crack up

This hotdog lookin' thing was in the same place and the deflated ball thing. Kody stayed on this pretty much the whole time until she became more comfortable with herself.

her looking over the side of the hot dog thing

My turn to fall into the sink hole as we called it. You can't see it, but Reece is trying to pull me out. You can get out if you roll over to the side and the thing just pops you out. Quite fun

I don't think that flower/mushroom lookin' thing was supposed to deflate, but it did. That room had problems. I love my sweet little girl

This is in the biggest bouncy room of all. Kody had a hard time with the slide. She didn't want to go on her own.

I love action shots. Posed shots are just as fun too, but the action shots really show what's going on. Well maybe.. sometimes pictures don't really do things justice. I srsly love that adults can play on this stuff. I don't ever want to become one of those boring parents that just sit on the chairs and watch their kids have fun. This place actually has a parents lounge and there were lots of adults in there. It made me sad for the kids. And in the lounge there were a bunch of different quotes. I have on of them on here and you'll see the irony in it.

I love this picture! It looks like Kody is part of that family! This is at the end of the big slide.

On the other climbing areas. There were 2 slides. a green one (hence picture) and a red one. The red one was flippin awesome. When wearing socks and if you lay on your back with your feet down on the slide, knees up and slide down, you can get some good speed going on!
This picture makes me want to sing "all aboard the choo choo train"

I also love, love this picture!! I love how well those girls get along. Kody loves Reece so much and Reece loves Kody. Cousins are the best!! I am so glad that I am close to my cousin's. Keep in mind I am 1 of 40. There are about 5 of us who are all the same age, and 3 of us live here. My cousin Lydia who I love so much who is always there for me lives in Utah. We used to spend every summer together in either UT or AZ or sometimes both. I hope my kids will be close to their cousins... as they slowing come along.

This is in the small room. Kody had no problem going down this slide on her own, which then gave her the confidence to go down the big slide on her own. Although for that to really happen, I just had to drop her off on it. I say drop, but really I mean push, and by push I mean gently nudge her to go.

Eric and I

She is so flippin cute I can hardly stand it sometimes. she's growing up so big and that makes me sad a bit. Time for another baby. (not pregnant)

This is the ball thing that kids do not sink in. Only the adults

Erica went on her stomach- bad idea considering she felt like she messed up her back, which she probably did.

See how they are on the side?? That way you can get out easier and like I said earlier, it pops you out.

The girls before going down the big slide.

Reece is so funny

Here is the quote in the parents lounge. I found it to be ironic considering all the parents that were in there on their comps

Whee!! Kody going down the big slide by herself. By this point, I didn't have to go up there with her. She went on her own, with Reece anyway.

She loved it!

Reece and I in the sink hole again. My bum was touching the bottom/floor

It was actually quite comfortable. I enjoyed chillaxin for a bit

Now Reece wanted Erica and I to be in this together. We didn't know it would take 5 min to get out. I wish someone had a video camera during this because it was absolutely hilarious. Every time one of us would try to get out, it would sink the other person further down and they would end up with half their body on top of yours. Finally we both put our arms out and pushed off together and had to roll in opposite directions. I was dying laughing.

I'm SO there!! Except it should probably wait until my back isn't all jacked up, so I'm not one of those boring parents!

That looks like so much fun! We took our Abby to a place called Kangaroo Zoo like that in Utah for her bday. She loved it and so did my husband and I! It's fun to be able to play like a kid!

FUN! i love places like that!! And I agree, its so fun to go down the slides with the kids and play with them. I love the days when I really interact with my kids. But I can't do the fun stuff with them unless trev. is with me cause its hard with a baby. It will be so fun when they are all a little older and we can all play like that.
