A couple of weeks ago we went to the Phoenix Children's museum with my brother-in-law Seth, his girlfriend, his kids, and my mother-in-law. We first met for lunch at UNO's for lunch, then walked down to the museum since it was just down the street. It was a lot of fun too. Kody had so much fun playing with her cousin Reece and she loved being around all the fun activities. When we first got there we went right the craft room where she painted a flag. They had little circular things where the kids could make an olympic flag if they wanted, but kody's had circles all over. it was fun. She also made a puppet with a paper cup and some silly things too. She also got to help paint a house. She had a great time with that. She didn't get too messy which was nice. There were many other things to do there, but Kody's favorite part was the bicycle station. She had fun scooting around on her own, but her most favorite thing was to be on the back of the bicycle that Reece rode around. She had fun in the little playground area too. She normally does not go play on her own, but with Reece there she was running around and having a good time. It was nice to be able to sit and watch her play. Normally if I'm there, she won't go play on her own. All in all it was a good day. We need to do more things like this.
This isn't of the museum or really the day of, but I flipped out Kody's hair with my straightener and I love it. She's adorable
Here Kody is painting a house in the craft room. She had a great time. She also painted a flag, and made a puppet out of a cup. I don't have pictures of those, but it was fun
Her and Cousin Reece had a lot of fun together. They played all over. This is a little sand box with lights under it, and they used picks and other hair combs to make designs.
They spent a good amount of time here at the bicycle station. Kody had fun riding on the little wooden scooter, but she had the most fun riding on the back of the little bike that Reece drove around. I love to see her happy little face
This was in a little play area that was for 3 year olds and under. There were slides, and other obstacles to play on. Kody loved being in here too
Playing with puzzles while we were waiting for some of the other kids to have their turn on some toys. I believe this was in the room where you can race wooden cars. Kody is giving her uncle Seth a kiss. She has gotten to know him a bit better now too
At the end of the day, Kody played with Grandma Dorothy with the split peas. In this room there was a fake pizza station with the pizza oven and everything. A grocery store with real looking fruits and veggies. She had fun in here too.
